About da Vinci School

da Vinci School is an alternative public school within the Toronto District School Board. We opened in September, 2009 and serve JK-6. We are located on the third floor of Lord Lansdowne Public School, 33 Robert Street, near College and Spadina. The approach of the da Vinci school is inspired by Waldorf education and follows many of the teachings of Rudolf Steiner. We follow the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum, teaching through narrative with a focus on art, music, and nature.

da Vinci School is located in University

The University of Toronto is a public research university, located on the grounds that surround Queen's Park. With its green spaces and many interlocking courtyards, the university forms a distinct region of urban parkland in the city's downtown core. Harbord Village is part of the University neighbourhood and lies just to the west of the University of Toronto proper. Harbord Village is largely a professional community and home to many professors from the University of Toronto. The neighbourhood's Victorian housing stock has mostly been renovated and returned to single-family occupancy.
