Unlike other schools, mindwerx4kids provides an enriched age-appropriate program with an individualized learning approach. Assessments occur on a regular basis to better understand the student's learning style, talents and current skills, as well as formulate a program plan geared to optimize interest and involvement. Generally this includes an annual psychoeducational assessment and academic evaluations throughout the year. We try to make these fun for the kids. Interviews and written reports are routinely provided. Classes are small, with a maximum of eight students per teacher at all levels. Students also have access to computers and interactive white board technology. Our Day School is fortunate to have on-site use of both a gymnasium and auditorium, so that physical education and drama are an ongoing part of the school day.
Edenbridge-Humber Valley, also known as Humber Valley Village, is within the former City of Etobicoke and is a relatively affluent community.
