Huron Heights is a residential neighbourhood in northeast Newmarket. It is a well-established family neighbourhood, with parks and trees, and with a mix of housing, including mostly single-detached homes built in the late 1980s and 1990s in a real range of styles, as well as townhomes and condos. The area is close to Highway 404, convenient for commuters. The western region of the neighbourhood features conservation areas and a multi-use trail system. The Leslie Valley neighbourhood is in northeast Newmarket, directly south of the Huron Heights neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is well-established, with a number of parks and schools, a health centre, seniors' residence, and amenities spread throughout the area. The area has easy access to Highway 404, for commuters. It is also close to the many stores and restaurants just on the other side of Yonge Street, which is the eastern boundary. Housing is mixed, with mostly single detached homes built in the 1980–90s, but also semi-detached, townhomes, and apartment buildings, as well as some estate homes on large properties.
