The Bullock neighbourhood is in south central Markham. It is located north of Highway 407 up to the railway line north of Bullock Drive, with McCowan Rd as the western border and as far east as Markham Rd. It is usually considered part of "Old Markham." The Rouge River and a conservation area lie in the southern portion of this neighbourhood. A large shopping complex is located an McCowan Rd and Bullock Rd. and commercial areas extend along Bullock Rd, and along Highway 7. Homes are mainly single detached, many on fairly large lots.
