Mitchell Woods Public School is a modern K-8 school which opened in 1999. Located in the northwest corner of Guelph, the school serves a rapidly growing and culturally diverse community. We have 584 students this year and almost thirty languages are spoken amongst our student population. At Mitchell Woods, we are proud of our positive school climate, supported by our excellent staff and actively involved parent community.
West Willow Woods is a residential area with a variety of housing types. Homes range from older single-family detached houses on mature lots to high-rise apartment buildings. The Guelph campus of Conestoga College is also located in West Willow Woods.
