Queen Street Public School is a truly outstanding school that not only fosters excellence, but also possesses a climate that values and embraces all who enter. Since opening in 2003, we have become known as a school with heart, celebrating diversity and developing a sense of social responsibility in our students and our community. The staff provides many opportunities for our children to participate in a variety of activities, including the Intergenerational Program, the Me to We Club and the EcoTeam, to learn that they can make a difference in the world, both locally and globally.

Our school is a community of learners with high expectations for all. The staff is caring, enthusiastic and committed to supporting our students to become problem solvers, risk takers and critical thinkers. Teachers devote a great deal of time learning about their students to better meet individual needs. Evidence of learning is obvious throughout the school, in the hallways and in the classrooms.

Queen Street enjoys strong partnerships with our families and the community. Parents and staff benefit from a positive and mutually supportive relationship. We have excellent attendance at all school events and are very appreciative of our many parent and community volunteers that regularly support the learning of our students.
