Westminster-Branson is positioned between the east and west branches of the Don River Valley. Its original housing stock was built from the 1920s up until the 1960s. Currently, older detached and semi-detached homes from the 1950s are either being converted into mixed use buildings or are being replaced by townhouse complexes and custom homes. The northern section of the neighbourhood was once known as Fisherville.
