Yorkview is a small elementary school on the North East side of Dundas, Ontario. Built in 1952, it has all the charm of an older building. The teachers have worked hard at the school to teach a solid curriculum with great results. We are all proud of our accomplishments in academics, character education and in sports.
Dundas is a community and town in Hamilton. It is nicknamed the Valley Town because of its topographical location at the bottom of the Niagara Escarpment on the western edge of Lake Ontario. With the establishment of McMaster University in nearby west Hamilton in 1930, Dundas gradually became a bedroom community of the university faculty and students, with a thriving arts community.
