Central Erin Mills is in west central Mississauga, conveniently located close to Highways 401 and 403. Housing developments began in the early 1980s. Housing is mixed, with large, single-detached and semi-detached homes, townhomes, and high-rise buildings. The area features plenty of green space and parklands, including woodland areas, as well as schools, a hospital, and a large, centrally located shopping mall.
