Beatty-Fleming Sr. Public School is the home of the Panthers; the home of P.R.I.D.E. Our students are encouraged to be Proud, Respectful, Intense, Determined and Enthusiastic. Students will have many opportunities to demonstrate these values both in and out of the classroom.

Beatty-Fleming has outstanding music, visual arts and athletic programs, as well as a number of clubs and activities, all designed to get students involved. It is our belief at Beatty-Fleming that students should become involved in the life of the school as much as possible, for that will allow for a well-rounded middle school experience.

Beatty-Fleming recognizes that students achieve their best when they feel safe, nurtured, welcomed, respected and included. We are committed to providing a healthy learning and working environment to support student success by promoting responsibility, respect, civility, academic excellence and good citizenship. For learning to be successful, schools must be free of negative factors such as bullying, discrimination, intimidation, hateful words and actions, as well as physical violence in any form.

We believe that parents, the school and community must all work together to help students learn to become responsible members of society, being sensitive to the diversity, cultural and special needs of individual students. We must clearly demonstrate respect for social justice and human rights and promote the values needed to develop responsible members of a democratic society.
